Got a call from someone called John, said he was from some Medical Alert Centre, telling me I might be eligible for a medical alert bracelet. I didn’t hang about and just ended the call. Since my number is on the Telephone Preference Service, I’ll be making a complaint about them soon enough.

I keep getting calls from some automated bloke called John, first he was from the driveway centre, now he claims to be from the medical centre. Same cheesy scam routine as always. The numbers they show start with 01208227 but before they used to use ones beginning 01302 712 and 0141 729. Pretty clear it’s just the same scam, different fake job title.
