I received a call today, Wednesday 15th June, but it was silent, so I couldn't pick up. Subsequently, I thought it prudent to look into the number. I'd prefer if they don't attempt to reach me again.

I've been receiving incessant calls from an Indian gentleman. He often uses the number 01207 700014 as well. He claims to represent Carphone Warehouse, yet he struggles to say the name of the company correctly, which raises quite a few eyebrows!

I didn’t pick up because it seemed like one of those dodgy scam calls. Honestly, I wish I could track down these idiots and whoever’s behind them. They’re bloody annoying and pathetic. This number, which I guess is probably fake, rang me about a week ago too, and I ignored it then as well. Seriously, there should be laws to stop this rubbish.

I keep getting calls from this number, yet when I answer, it’s just dead air on the line. It's baffling, really! What could possibly be the point of ringing if there’s no one to speak to?

Somebody called saying they were from Virgin Media and had a special deal on my phone. When I told them I wasn’t interested in switching, they just hung up on me. The accent was really hard to catch, sounded foreign and quite thick. I’ve blocked that number now. I also noticed the number 01206582017 popping up, so I blocked that one too just to be safe.

I happened to receive a call on the very day that I had arranged for British Gas/Dyno Rod to come and sort out a repair. When I dialled the number back, I was put on hold and greeted with a recorded announcement claiming to be Aqua Energies, which, to my knowledge, isn’t a real company at all. Quite strange, isn’t it?

This was totally dodgy. The bloke said his name was Peter and had a sort of Asian accent. He told me he was ringing from O2 and said he could knock 30% off my bill. I asked if he wanted to know my monthly charges, and then told him he already had my number, which isn’t from O2 anyway, so he’d see the actual figure. After that, he got really quiet but didn’t hang up. Felt like a classic scam to me.

Wasn’t quite catching what she was saying, maybe had an eastern accent? Pretty sure I’ve heard her voice on a call from London before. This time, the number said it was from Colchester though. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

There was absolute silence for roughly ten seconds, and then a soft-spoken woman with a strong Indian accent chimed in with, "Hello, can you hear me?" After that, she simply hung up.

Today has been a right nightmare with the phone ringing off the hook. I've received nine calls, all from different numbers like 026, 027, 031, 024, and whatnot. It's enough to drive anyone round the bend!

Earlier today, I got two phone calls, the first one being from Sky, who claimed my internet connection was subpar due to some ongoing work. They requested that I install an app on my phone to supposedly boost the signal. Naturally, I didn’t buy it and hung up, opting instead to contact Sky directly. They swiftly informed me it was a scam. The second number that has been incessantly ringing me is 01206 592027. I hope they stop soon!

I've been bombarded by calls today, it feels like a gazillion times, yet every single time it’s the same chap with an unmistakably strong Asian accent. It started off with him enthusiastically exclaiming, "you can grab an iPhone 13 prooooo MAARRRXXX" - it was quite the introduction! Initially, he quoted me £42 a month, with £10 for insurance and a hefty £79 upfront. I couldn’t resist and cheekily replied that I’d snagged an exclusive offer for just £34 on the same device. His reaction? “Let me just check with my manager,” he said, before literally putting me on hold for about two seconds. How does that even work? LOL! Then he came back with this astonishing offer, “just for you today, don’t share it with anyone, only £34, but it’s for the phone alone, no SIM.” I said, “no thanks, O2 has a nice SIM package for me.” But he was quick to counter with, “for just £9.99, I can bundle everything into an unlimited plan!” What’s more, he insisted I pay straight away before six o'clock so he could ship the phone out to me the very next day. I queried if I could get an email confirmation first, and he was adamant that they needed payment upfront due to very high demand, claiming the iPhone 13 was already a scarce item. I pressed him about how he could promise next-day delivery if stock was so low, and he casually replied, “Oh, I set aside five units in the back for today’s sales.” It was rather eerie, to say the least! Then he said he’d send me a link. Guess what? He forwarded me a link to a thoroughly dodgy Google Photoshopped page for the iPhone 13, listed for EE account holders. Absolute comedy gold! Can you believe it?

I’ve had a right nuisance of calls from scammers, all trying to fish for my bank details to verify my address so they can send me some supposedly fantastic SIM card offer. What a load of nonsense! Just ignore them and steer clear of sharing any personal information. They often ring from various numbers too. I’ve already made a report to Action Fraud about this lot!

I just let it ring and never picked up, no voicemail or anything left either. The number showed up as private on my phone when I checked. When I tried calling it back, I got this strange automated message with a really heavy far eastern accent. Feels like a dodgy phonecall to me!

I can totally relate! I went to Carphone Warehouse too, and as a loyal customer, they were offering me an S21 Ultra for just £40 a month! Honestly, do they really think we fell off the turnip truck yesterday? It’s laughable!
