I got a call from a lady saying she was with Crown Energy and that they were working on my road - she even mentioned the street name! When I asked how she found my unlisted number, she kept saying I must have agreed to it. I told her the whole point of having an unlisted number is to avoid these kinds of calls, and then she just hung up on me. From reading other comments, it looks like they’re willing to try anything to pull off a scam.

Got a call where the bloke knew my name right off the bat. He said he was with the NHS and asked if I’d had my Covid jabs yet. I told him if he really worked for the NHS he’d be able to check my details on their system. After that, he quickly hung up. Bit dodgy if you ask me!

She wanted to know how much I owed in debts, but I just couldn’t make out what she was on about, so I ended the call. Bit frustrating as I’m actually expecting a genuine call back from Citizens Advice here in the UK. Really odd how they get hold of people’s numbers like that.

Got a call from someone saying they were with the NHS vaccination team. They mentioned they knew I’d already had my jab - which is probably true for lots of folks. Then they asked if I was experiencing any side effects or feeling alright. Their English was pretty poor, and it definitely didn’t come across as an official line. I said something like, "I don’t think I should be giving info to this call" and they just cut me off. When I tried ringing back, it just kept saying the line was busy and no voicemail was available. Bit fishy if you ask me.
