If you get a call from anyone saying they're from the NHS Vaccination Service, your GP or even the government, and they start asking for stuff like: - personal details - bank or card info don’t ever share that info. Real NHS or government staff will never ask for these kinds of details over the phone. Also, watch out when you get automated calls telling you to press buttons - some of these are premium numbers that could cost you loads. There’s also been more scam texts recently, with links leading to fake NHS sites where you’re asked to enter personal data. Stay cautious!

Then they started asking about updating my emergency contact and suddenly wanted to know about my life insurance and how much I pay for it. When I said I wasn’t sure, the bloke got really insistent and kept pressing me. I ended the call. He already had my full name and address, which was a bit worrying.
