Just had a call from someone saying they work for a govt-supported loft insulation company. They started off asking loads about my insulation and then really pushed with salesy questions to get me to spill stuff I wasn’t comfortable sharing. Definitely put a stop to that one!

Someone rang up looking for my husband but wouldn’t say what it was regarding, just kept mentioning ‘data protection’ or something like that. When I asked what data they meant, he just said “thanks for your time” and ended the call. Sounds like a total scam to me.

I’m pretty sure this phone number is just another annoying caller like 012044715573. Both have rung our home phone loads of times lately, but usually hang up as soon as we pick up. Voicemail? Nope, never any left. On 20/01/2018, a guy called saying he was from BT dealing with a problem, then suddenly changed it to a survey. He asked for someone who doesn’t live here - it’s probably a fake name we use online so we can tell if our info has been leaked. Weirdly enough, that same day we got a letter sent to that made-up name, promoting coach trips.
