Funny how lots of people here say this number belongs to different firms? I got a call from the same digits but they said it was "TTP Claiming Company". I didn't pick up, but they left a voicemail saying it was about something I enquired about? 🤨 I honestly can't recall asking about anything! Seems pretty sketchy to me.

Got a message from someone called Goodwin Barrett, sounded like a Scottish bloke. He left a voicemail on this number (01204471578) saying I should ring him back about some enquiry I supposedly made, but I never did any such thing. Feels dodgy, probably a scam.

Somebody called me claiming to be from an investment firm (which I've never dealt with), so I instantly knew it was dodgy. They mentioned recording the calls, and I just told them, "Fine, now buzz off and quit harassing me, you cheap scammer." Then they ended the call.

Received a couple of cold calls and noticed they’ve left voicemails on two occasions within three days. I've had enough and have now blocked their number. They do have a website, which goes by Goodwin Barrett. I reckon it’s a dodgy investment outfit. Be careful!

Got a call earlier today, an automated voice kept saying that HMRC had filed something against me and if I didn’t press 1, I’d be arrested immediately. Since I work in Cybersecurity, I knew what was going on and pressed 1, which put me through to someone. Fortunately, they couldn’t hear me properly, but from what I could tell, it’s a scam call coming from INDIA pushing you to give away personal info. BE CAREFUL and DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!

01204471578. These horrible people actually knew my full name and my mobile number! They called from a Bolton number, but I’ve also had calls from international ones. One of my neighbours who’s in her 80s got scammed and lost her entire life savings. Absolutely disgraceful. With Christmas just around the corner, my bank warned me the scammers will be unstoppable.

Got a call from 01204471578 around 9.54 this morning. The bloke claimed to be from Goodwin Barrett, said he was calling back about a PPI enquiry I made. Total nonsense, of course. I told him I suspected he was a scammer, and he got a bit shirty. That just proved my point, especially with the rubbish he was talking. In the end, he hung up looking a bit disgruntled. Result! A small win for me.

They use loads of different numbers. I was browsing Facebook and my phone suddenly started ringing out of nowhere. Now these annoying calls come almost daily. Definitely a scam, watch out everyone.

Got a dodgy call from some bloke named Anthony, trying to get me to put my missus's cash into some firm from Bolton called Goodwin Barrats investments. Proper scammy nuisance, could catch out anyone who isn't wise to these con artists. Just end the call straight away.

Accidentally picked up and a bloke called himself Phillip, trying to pitch some investment stuff. I told him if I had cash I’d put it in art instead. He said I’d done a survey, which confused me for a sec coz I had filled one in but my number wasn’t on it. He went on for a bit so I repeated I’d spend any money I had on art. Guess that made him think twice since he ended the call.

Some bloke rang up asking about investments, I told him I don't discuss that sort of thing over the phone. He started arguing, asking why not, so I just repeated I don't want his call. Then he goes on about how I’m on the TPS, so how can no one call me? I told him I'd report him for that.

Got a ring from a firm looking like it was about investments. I asked them how they got my number, and they said from buffalo data 01473 833665, said I did a survey with them. Thing is, I never do surveys on phone or online. Feels like my info’s been sold. Plus, I keep gettin’ calls from some stranger who just hangs up as soon as I pick up.

Got a call from 01204471578 at around 10.05am on Tuesday 15th May. A woman asked for me by name and claimed she had my number because I was supposedly interested in investments? Nope, I’m not at all. The call seemed to come from Bolton. She said she’d call again, but more like she’s got a job there, the number was blocked too.

Received a call from some investment firm, sounded legit. When I asked where they got my number, they said I took part in a phone survey on 14/2/18. I told them I never did any survey like that. They then mentioned they got my details from a company called Buffalo Data Media and gave me their number, 0147383366 in Ipswich. Planning to ring them tomorrow and ask to listen to a recording of this supposed survey.
