Got a call about some accident payout they say I haven’t received. Thing is, I wasn’t even in the car when it got hit by someone else, though I witnessed the whole thing and naturally had to sort out repairs. Ever since, I've been swamped with calls from these so-called ambulance chasers who must have got hold of my info from the car insurance listings. It feels like a GDPR breach because I’ve never agreed to let anyone third-party ring me up. These sort of firms are trouble, trying to pull you into claims you don’t really need. Very frustrating, cheers.

About fifteen minutes back I got a call from them, but didn’t pick up. If you want these calls to stop, just pick up when they ring, punch in 15711, then hang up. After that, you shouldn’t get any more calls from them.

I got a couple of calls from this number not long ago. The first time, a bloke asked if I’d ever put money into investments. I told him to mind his own business and hung up. Then today, they rang again but no one said a word.

Got a call on our home phone from a bloke claiming to be with BT. He said he was checking up on a problem we had before, then switched to saying it was about a survey we’d supposedly done. When he asked to speak to a name that’s not real - just something I use online to protect my info - I knew something was off, probably to see if he could sell my details on to someone else.

Just like the comment from 29.11, this caller kept asking about investments with different names. I told them straight up I wouldn't chat about that stuff over the phone with someone I don't even know. So, I've blocked the number now.

Got a call from a woman who went on about confirming my identity, but she already had loads of info on me. Tried to push some “investment advice” - said she was from Goodwin Barrett or something. Told her to get lost and never ring me again. What’s the point of the telephone preference service or any of those nuisance call blockers then? Honestly, what is Ofcom even doing about this? Proper annoying!

My elderly mum got two calls from this number today (27/11/17). They kept asking for my dad, but he passed away more than a decade ago. They said he’d invested some money, which really upset her and made her worry they might keep calling her. Just thought this might help others.

Got calls from this number a few times already - every time it just cuts off as soon as my answerphone picks up. Sounds like one of those call centres to me. Blocked them now.

I got a call and when I picked up, the person said it was about a survey my daughter supposedly completed yesterday around 3.24. My daughter’s a teacher and wasn’t even in at that time, so I told them she couldn’t have done it and to take my number off their list since I’m registered with the TPS. They got all defensive and insisted they didn’t call yesterday at all.
