They're pretending to be some kind of official support for annoying insurance calls, like they're from some government agency doing investigations. But really, they're just another pushy insurance sales caller. They'll try to get loads of info from you and then either sell it or just create more problems. Best to avoid them and not give them anything.

They said they were representing some Insurance Advice Group tryin to help me stop the annoying calls about an accident. I told them I haven’t had any calls or accidents, and asked why they were the ones bothering me. They seemed a bit sketchy so I just hung up. They keep ringing though, so I’ve blocked their number now.

I received a rather peculiar call from someone claiming they were looking to wrap up a road traffic accident file and eliminate nuisance calls. Quite amusing, really, as they insisted on verifying some details before they could proceed with the closure. I simply told them to go ahead and close it, as I had no clue what they were on about, and my insurance company handles all that for me. They then insisted they couldn't close it without my confirmation. I countered with a cheeky remark about them wasting my time, and before I knew it, I'd hung up on them. I've now blocked the number.

Received a call regarding the closure of a RTA case and the cessation of pesky callers. Quite the irony, really. The caller insisted he had to verify certain details before wrapping things up. I informed him that I had no clue about the case, as my insurance company handles all of that. He insisted it couldn't be finalised without my confirmation. I pointed out that it seemed a bit silly to waste time like this, to which he insisted it was a necessary step. I just remarked, “So you’re the one occupying my time?” and then I hung up. That number is now blocked!

Some bloke rang up claiming he was from some accident database tryna get info to take my son off it coz he reported annoying calls. I wasn’t having it. When I asked for a callback number, he couldn’t recall it then suddenly gave me a totally different number from the one he was on, said it was his boss’s. Yeah right, just hung up.

Got another call today, that's the third one in a row now, and it's really starting to get on my nerves. I kept calm and just said to the caller, "This is the third day you've called, I haven't had any accidents, and you promised to take my details off your list." Instead of just listening, the caller snapped back with, "Why are you being rude? I’m not here for you to complain at me." Proper bad manners. This is borderline harassment, don't pick up if you get a call from these people!!!

Got a call from this person saying I was in an accident last year, then quickly corrected themselves to 2015. They said someone’s trying to claim discomfort because she apparently hit me. Funny thing is, I haven’t had any accidents in either 2015 or 2016!!!

A clever trick with these rabsoles is to ask them for THEIR personal info, like their full name, dob, home address, phone digits. Also ask for their data protection licence number and who their data controller is. You can waste both their time and yours if you’re not in a hurry. Give it a try, it’s quite amusing. The so-called regulators should stop faffing about and actually sort this mess. Cheers!

They claim to be from the "Insurance Advice Group" and say they want to help with stopping annoying calls. Honestly, I doubt it’s legit and think they’re just another claims outfit trying to scam folks where they can.

I keep getting annoyed by these cold calls. It’s not just this number, there’s loads of different ones claiming to be from the same place. They’re all about some accident claim stuff. When I tell them to chat with my lawyer, they just hang up. Had a little break with no calls but now it’s like they won’t stop ringing. Thank goodness they haven’t left any messages!

These insurance sales people are a nightmare. Got proper rude with me when I said I wasn’t making a claim. Most of them from Merseyside from what I’ve heard. The minute you say you’re not claiming, they just cut the call. Once I told a bloke to stop ringing, and he said he’d keep calling until I actually made a claim. Proper cheeky!
