It’s clear this is a total #### scammer, so best not to engage at all. But if you’re like me, I like to mess around and feed them loads of rubbish just to annoy them. Honestly, they’ve got no right to hassle anyone. It’s actually quite funny wasting their time, and the longer they’re stuck talking to me with all my made-up details, the less chance they have to bother someone innocent.

I got a call from this number - 01204204032 - and when I checked it with 1471 and tried ringing back hiding my own number with 141, all I heard was a recorded message saying the number wasn't in service. But it definitely is, considering it just rang me. So, I figured it was a dodgy scam call. My gut told me something was off. I later found out loads of others had searched this number online too, as they were suspicious as well. A bit of digging showed it’s linked to an internet company that’s scamming folks. Got a call from a woman with a strong foreign accent, the line kept breaking up. She claimed to be from Curry’s mobile, rattling off a bunch of info straight from a script after asking how I was. Once I said I wasn’t interested in any phone deals, she cut me off right away. Pretty clear she wasn’t who she said she was. I wouldn’t trust this number at all, especially since other people have gotten different weird calls from it. Total scam. Best to just block and forget about it.

Just got a call from 01204204032. The person had an unfamiliar accent and claimed to be ringing for Currys Mobile, asking if I fancied a new iPhone. There was a loud background noise, like a tannoy system, maybe an airport or some kind of call centre. When I told him I wasn’t keen on iPhones, he immediately asked what phone I used. I said Samsung Galaxy, and he quickly said I could get that too. Seems very dodgy to me, definitely a scam.
