No one else apart from me and my housing knew about it, yet they called me Miss Debbie and said they were based in South Africa??? How on earth did they get that info??

The people on the phone claimed they were from a tenancy help service and wanted to ask about my house. They said they worked for something called "Clear Com". Total scam, they even told me they bought my details and plan to sell them after I finished their survey. Just so you know, THEY HAVE YOUR HOME ADDRESS TOO. These cold callers from that firm won’t let you hang up the call, no matter what. So if you’re brave and up for it, you can mess with them a bit.

Someone pretended to be from the council offering social housing help, so I told them to take me off their list and stop tricking people. They said, “How’s it a scam if it’s free?” I just laughed and told them I’m not daft, they wanted my info for something dodgy and no way am I giving it. Then they just said “Have a good day” and hung up. Had 6 calls from them today already, it’s nuts. Blocked them straight away.

Some bloke said he was doing a survey about houses that might need fixing up because of stuff left undone during the coronavirus period. He asked if I'd got any damp patches, mould, or drafts coming through the windows and doors, plus any damage inside or outside the house. I've come across an individual of Indian descent claiming to be from an organisation named Consumer Lifestyle, conducting a rather questionable survey. It strikes me as a possible attempt to harvest personal data for the purpose of targeting individuals with other dubious schemes. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

Got a call from some place in India saying they’re from a call centre wanting to discuss benefits I supposedly ordered. I’m not claiming any benefits, so it’s probably a scam to get your bank info.
