On 11th July 22, I got a call from Norwich. I answered with a quick "hello, who’s speaking?" but then they just hung up. I rang back immediately and an automated voice said the number was discontinued by Action Fraud. It gave a number to call if affected: 0300 123 2040. Finally some action!

This bloke just wouldn’t stop wanting to know my name. I asked him who he was and why he was ringing me. Then he suddenly said he was with the FBI or something!

She reached out to let me know that my O2 contract was nearing its end and suggested renewing it. Claimed she could secure me a rather nice discount. It’s quite amusing really, considering I don’t even have a contract with them!

Got a call saying my missus had an accident. Apparently, she was driving. Problem is, she's never had a driving licence, nor has she ever driven a car before in her entire life!!

I told the woman that there hadn't been any accident on my end (which was true, as someone nicked my car keys). After that, I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Get Connected, charging that they were ringing about my O2 contract ending soon. Thing is, they had no clue what phone I use or any of my contract stuff. I just blocked the number straight away.
