8 yearsManitoba, really? Didn’t pick up and went straight to block.Manitoba8 years012032396538 keeps calling again and again. It’s some Asian bloke who somehow knows my name. As soon as he starts talking, I just hang up straight away. We’re in a country with loads of tech stuff, yet scams like this still happen all the time. I’ve reported these dodgy calls loads, but nothing really changes. Makes me think there might be some sort of shady network tucked away in govt circles. Getting fined for parking or speeding is a doddle compared to trying to get proper protection from these scammy lot. Cheers, Davy.CheersDavy8 yearsGot a call from these dodgy people, no voicemail or anything. Best just ignore and don’t ring them back. Proper scammers, nothing good about it.8 yearsAnother guy from Asia calling again, trying to scam me with BT Internet deals. Seriously, how do they manage to keep using these numbers without getting caught??8 yearsGot another call from some call centre abroad, saying they were from BY and there was some issue with my internet. Totally fishy.8 yearsSome bloke with an accent claimed to be from BT tech support, telling me my internet was being hijacked or something like that. I let him carry on for a bit until I said, hang on, I don’t have any internet or even a mobile phone. He got all annoyed and said I should’ve said that before he started going on about my computers. Then he started swearing at me, calling me a Mother F####r over and over. I told him yeah, well that makes two of us, but I doubted his mum was much better!BT Technology8 yearsGot a call from a bloke with an Asian accent saying he was from BT or something, talking about issues with my computer. When I pretended not to get it, he passed me onto another guy with a milder accent, who asked if I was sorting out my computer and said he could "help" with it. I just hung up straight away.BT8 yearsGot a call from some asian guy talking about my internet. He said his line was cracking up when he tried calling me.Asia8 yearsHad this bloke called Mark, who kept ringing me from some place called Information Technology or something like that. He was on about giving me back £299 because I supposedly bought some virus protection before, but they couldn't keep it secure now. Never spent anywhere near that much on antivirus stuff in my entire life. And of course, the only way to get my "refund" was by him guiding me through filling out a form on my computer. Proper fishy if you ask me!MarkInformation TechnologySubmit Your Own Report (12032396538)
