I got a call from an Asian woman telling me my internet was about to get cut off because of some issue. I just ended the call straight away. But then she rang me three more times back to back! Total scam, no doubt. And funny thing is, my internet’s working perfectly fine!

My elderly mum, she's 73, just got a call from this number. She wasn't sure what the caller wanted so she handed me the phone. Right away the woman on the line started shouting and wouldn't let me get a word in. When I asked her why she was being so rude to a customer, she told me to buzz off because I was interrupting her chat with my mum. I told her I'm a computer engineer, which I am, and that there’s nothing wrong with mum’s internet or computer, plus we're not even with BT. Then she just told me to f*** off and hung up. Proper cheeky behaviour!

Got a call like this today but the bloke had an Asian accent. He asked me to switch on my PC, but when I said I was from BT and asked to speak to his manager, he just cut me off straight away.

I got a call first from 002032392603, this posh lady with an Indian accent kept saying she was calling on behalf of BT. She told me some nonsense about hackers using foreign IPs to mess with my internet and insisted I turn on my computer right away and follow her steps. I played along for a bit just to waste her time, and she got really annoyed and was about to pass me to her “manager” when I just ended the call. Then, right away, they tried ringin me again from 0012032392603 but I didn’t pick up. I’ve blocked both those numbers now, no more of their cheek.
