Watch out, this company is a total scam, I’d recommend blocking their number straight away.

So I just got off the phone and my gut said something was off, so I came here to check and yep, I wasn’t wrong. Yesterday, a woman called me claiming her name was Jess and she was from a company called ihomes. She said I owed them £149.50 for some call barring service I supposedly agreed to two years ago. I told her I wasn’t having it since we have the call guardian phone. When I first started using it, I was told any charges would come through my phone provider, which she assumed was BT. I asked if she was actually with BT and she said they worked with BT. Then she said I hadn’t paid them for two years. That really got me angry. I told her there’s no way she’s getting a penny off me and I’d be checking all my documents since I’ve never heard of their company. She said she’d ring back in a few days. As soon as I got off the phone, I came here, read all the comments, grabbed my call guardian phone and immediately BLOCKED her number. Bit funny really. Lol.

I use BT Guardian and recently received a call from this number. They said it was something to do with call blocking, which struck me as strange since I already have it set up. A woman asked if Mrs Inkpen was available, but I told her no one by that name lives here. She then checked if she had the correct address, and when I said no, it wasn’t even the same town, she politely ended the call. Naturally, I’ve blocked the number now. I’m guessing she twigged I wasn’t interested in buying anything, especially since I’m already protected against unwanted calls.

I got two calls today from these numbers, including 01202230199, and theyre the same lot trying to charge you £149 to block nuisance calls. Seems like they just keep ringing from different numbers to get you.
