Got a call from a woman with a strong accent claiming to be from the NHS, asking if I’d received my covid vaccine certificate in the post. When I said no, she wanted me to verify my address. I asked why she needed that if she was the one ringing me, and how can I be sure this was legit? She just ended the call right away.

I received a call from a lady with a strong accent, claiming to be from the NHS, inquiring whether I had received my physical copy of the Covid vaccination certificate. I replied that I hadn't and then she proceeded to ask me to 'verify' my address. I questioned her reasoning-if she was the one ringing me, why the need for confirmation? And how could I be sure the call was authentic? At that point, she just disconnected.

Got a call from a woman speaking with a South Asian accent who wanted to know if I'd received my covid jabs. She said she’d send a certificate to my home and asked me to confirm my address. I was a bit suspicious and asked why she needed it, but for some reason I went ahead and gave it anyway. Then she started asking about my health insurance, which really set off alarm bells. I told her it sounded like a scam and then she just suddenly ended the call.

Someone called pretending to be from the NHS to check if I’d had both my vaccines. Then they switched topics and began talking about some debt and asked if I’d applied for it. I got a call from this number claiming to be the NHS checking on my vaccine status. Then they started asking if I had any kind of health insurance. When I said I wasn’t sure who my provider was, the person insisted they couldn’t end the call without at least knowing the insurance company. Feels like they’re just trying to fish for info about people’s medical coverage, maybe to find out who’s covered and who isn’t so they can target the ones without insurance.

I got a call from someone who said they were with the NHS, asking about how Covid had impacted me.
