Got a call from someone claiming to be from a government-backed insulation programme. They were really pushy and quite unpleasant. It’s crazy these kinds of calls keep happening, especially when they can really upset people who live by themselves and might be more at risk. Why isn’t anything done about this?

Had a load of calls about loft insulation frauds, these muppets just keep ringing me and getting no where. After about five annoying calls, I’m gonna play along next time, get them to come round my house, then give 'em a right telling off as soon as they show up - bet they won’t like that one! Honestly, I reckon everyone else should try this out too!

No idea why I stayed on the call after he said, "You must be the homeowner, right? How's your day going?" I said, "Honestly, not great. I'm on the TPS list and you’ve just disturbed me." Then he goes, "You must be mistaken! We're from an energy setup firm based in Reading." I told him straight, "Look, I’m really annoyed that you managed to get my number out of nowhere, you don’t even know who I am, and I’m not interested in this chat." I ended the call there and have since blocked the number.

Yesterday, on the 23rd of April, I got a call from someone claiming to be from ‘Dorset Driveways’. He told me he was ringing about my driveway, but I told him I don’t have one and he’d dialled the wrong number. He just ended the call right away. I’m on the TPS and my number’s unlisted! It’s quite irritating really.

Somebody pretending to be from the local energy company called me (but 01202 isn’t even near where I live). They kept cutting me off and talking over what I was saying, then just dropped the call when they figured I wasn't interested. I’m really fed up with these calls, feels like they’re just taking advantage of old and vulnerable people. It’s a total joke. There should honestly be stricter laws to stop this kind of annoying harassment.
