I got a call from some company saying they were doing a survey about dodgy loft insulation installed 10-15 years back, and apparently, my number was on their list. The guy kept going on about the problems with the insulation and wanted me to answer some questions. Then he said he’d put me through to his manager - of course, the manager never showed up, and I was left waiting.

The individual on the line was clearly reading from a pre-prepared script and outright refused to answer any of my inquiries. When I pressed him for the name of his company, he abruptly hung up. Attempting to schedule a visit for later today, he obviously didn’t take my TPS registration into account. It strikes me as suspicious-had a similar experience a few months back, and once again, the caller cut off the conversation when I asked questions. I’m left with an unsettling feeling and absolutely no trust in them. This website has logged numerous complaints about similar calls from various numbers. The call occurred precisely at 09:35, and by 10:15, there had been six additional calls from this same number-strange, considering it’s only their first day using it.

I received an unexpected phone call from something called 'The Insulation Survey Centre'. They were quite evasive and refused to provide any information about who they are or what they do.

I've made it a point not to pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise. The Bournemouth area code rang my phone, but I don’t have the foggiest idea who might be calling from there. They didn’t bother to leave a message either. After seeing what others have said about this number, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it. Not taking any chances!
