A few hours later, Ben somehow had the cheek to ring me again and repeat the exact same nonsense.

I got a call from Ben at County Windows who claimed he got my details because Apple had done some jobs for us before. I told him he didn’t have permission to use info from Apple (breaking GDPR) and that I don’t entertain cold calls. He kept interrupting me and wouldn’t admit that it was a cold call even though I never rang him first. Felt like just another way to pressure me into spending cash I wasn’t interested in - seemed like a scam to me.

Got two texts from 01202 283610 earlier saying HMRC had put out a warrant for my arrest. After looking up some reviews, sounds like it's actually from Apple Windows, who we dealt with ages ago, so I reckon they must've passed on our number. Proper scary message!

Got a call from some folks claiming to be a window company… yeah, I think you know how that turned out.

Got a call at 17:55 today but lucky I have call guardian, it stopped the call and no message was left. Blocked right away.

got a call from this firm called county windows, reckon they might’ve been apple windows before? i said straight up i wasn’t interested but the bloke just wouldn’t give up, kept yabbering on. had to tell him firmly to stop calling me again!

Got a call from some window firm that took over after Apple Windows, who were shockingly bad. Even after I told them to stop calling, they kept ringing me up - didn’t even bother talking to me this time though, just ended the call when I picked up. Pretty annoying they seem to have sold my number to them.
