If you happen to speak with 'Chris the energy adviser,' i'd suggest you check all the numbers he’s using right here on this site. Also, consider reporting him to the TPS, the information commissioner, and Ofcom, especially if you’re registered with TPS or if he’s bothering you with silent or nuisance sales calls. Honestly, i wish he'd be hit with a massive fine, like £2 million, for all the hassle he puts people through.

I've had about a dozen calls from various numbers lately, even though I'm signed up with TPS. They always chat on about loft insulation. It's annoying, so I've had to leave my answerphone running all day and night just to avoid them.

Got calls from a firm called "Eco Green Energy Centre Ltd." Their website claims they're located in Cumbria, but all their landline numbers are Bournemouth based. They constantly harass with cold calls, cycling through various phone numbers starting with 01202 1595 and ending anywhere between 01 and 99. The people on the phone have identified themselves as "Chris" and "David" at different times. Whenever I ask where they got my details from, they never give a straight answer - which I reckon breaches GDPR rules. These calls also seem to dodge the TPS restrictions quite often. I’ve reported them both to the TPS and Action Fraud for persistent nuisance calling.

Since reading what others said here, I havent answered the calls. They rang me ten times yesterday, and by 1pm today I already got nine calls from the same number. Its just nonstop!

Got a recorded message from someone saying "Im Chris, your local energy advisor." Been getting this call for the third time now. I've already sent a complaint over to the Information Commissioner's Office about it.

Looks like they’ve got a whole bunch of numbers starting with 01202 1595... ringing me constantly, like several times daily. I ended up blocking all numbers in that series just to get some peace. I even had to put my phone onto answerphone mode all the time, which is a pain coz I’ve got elderly family who might not feel comfortable leaving messages. Honestly, BT should be taking some action here - once these numbers are flagged as spam or scams, why aren’t they shut down for good?

I’ve had a load of calls today from some energy company bloke called Chris, ringing my landline about 6 times on 27/9/21. They started off every couple hours in the morning, then switched to every hour after 2pm. This isn’t the first time either - I keep blocking their number but they just come back with a different one each time. Proper annoying!

Chris, the guy pushing energy deals, is a nightmare. When I politely asked him to remove me from his calling list, the calls just got worse - literally every few minutes until I had to pull the plug on my phone. He keeps switching up the last few digits of his number, so you can’t even block him properly. Honestly, the smartest move is to report him to Ofcom and the ICO; both have pretty straightforward online forms and phone lines. Hopefully, that’ll put an end to it.

Some bloke called Chris said he was ringing from the 'Green Eco Centre', but a quick Google search showed no sign of that place. He started asking loads about my loft insulation. I wondered if it was a business and asked, but he said no. Then I asked what sort of organisation it actually was, but he just dodged the question and kept going on with his spiel. We got a bit heated, and suddenly he just slammed the phone down on me. When I tried calling the number back, all I got was a voicemail from 'Digital Solution Marketing Company' - another name that Googling came up empty on.

all of em kept saying chris as well! nonstop calls here, with them saying stuff like “I think youre the owner blah blah,” just some marketing rubbish about solar panels. I also got calls from 101202 159483, 01202 159503 and 1202159488. when I asked them where they got my number from, and mentioned the TPS, they just laughed it off like I was daft.
