5 yearsI don’t pick up any calls from 01202 anymore because they keep ringing me loads of times a day, always from a number that’s just a bit different. My number’s been ex-directory for ages, like two decades, and I’m on the TPS, plus I don’t share my number with anyone. Still, they just won’t stop!Telephone Preference Service5 yearsDidn’t pick up and they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail either.5 yearsI've come across a company by the name of "Eco Green Energy Centre Ltd." Their website claims they operate out of Cumbria, yet they're using landline numbers that appear to be from Bournemouth. It seems like a dodgy operation, given their incessant cold calling and utter nuisance with a plethora of different phone numbers. At present, they're utilising numbers beginning with 01202 1595, varying the last two digits between 01-99. The names they’ve thrown around include "Chris" and "David", which I suspect are not genuine. A quick search online led me to one "Christopher Fletcher", who allegedly manages the firm and resides in Cumbria. Whenever I ask them how they acquired my personal details, they promptly go quiet, which I reckon violates GDPR regulations. They seem to have a knack for bypassing the Telephone Preference Service, too. I've already lodged complaints with both the TPS and Action Fraud regarding their conduct.Eco Green Energy Centre LtdCumbriaBournemouthChrisDavidChristopher FletcherTPSAction Fraud5 yearsThese callers have been pestering me twice daily for the last couple of months, and I simply refuse to pick up. You’d reckon that these dimwits would take the hint by this point! They seem to change their numbers constantly, yet the area code remains the same.5 yearsSome firm rang up about loft insulation, or so they said. My missus took the call but just told them we weren’t interested and ended the call quickly. We live in Sheffield, by the way.Sheffield5 yearsGot two calls on my phone from 01202 earlier today, haven’t had any for ages! Same old story though, sounded like some women calling again.5 yearsI received a call from someone claiming to be an energy specialist, peddling loft insulation services. Just a heads-up, it's best to steer clear of this one-it's definitely junk!5 yearsI received a message that went along the lines of: "Hello there, I'm Chris, your energy consultant in the area."Chris5 yearsI just got a call from some energy company trying to find out who owns the house, classic scam right from the start.5 yearsOver the last few days, I've had several calls from 01202 but they never left any voicemail.5 yearsI get calls every day from this number and a few that look almost the same. I finally picked up today, but there was just silence on the other end.5 yearsI picked up the call but there was silence, so I'm guessing it was some kind of automated machine on the other side!5 years01202159316, 01202159485 and 01202159210 have been buzzing me non stop. They just ring and hang up, no message left at all. I managed to catch a word with someone on the line and apparently it’s a guy named Chris claiming to be a local energy advisor. Seems like they’re just silent calls trying to get you curious or something.Chris5 yearsI got a call from the number above, someone chatting about loft insulation and how outdated stuff might bring mould up there. He sounded proper official and mentioned people aged 50 to 84 might get a free inspection, which usually costs about £75 locally. Makes me wonder how they got my number from who knows where. He kept going on about how swapping it could knock at least 20% off your heating bills. If I actually needed it, I'd just call a company I already trust. So, I just ended the call.5 yearsI've been getting loads of silent calls the past few days, no idea why they're ringing and then not saying anything!5 yearsGot a call from these energy scammers claiming there’s a government grant for loft insulation and cavity wall stuff to save energy. Total rubbish, no grants like that from the government right now. Don’t hand over your details to these muppets, I blocked the number straight away.5 yearsReceived a call from the number (01202 159510) on the 23rd of September, 2021, at a quarter past two in the afternoon. I haven’t the faintest clue who it could be, yet I seem to be bombarded with calls from various other numbers starting with the same area code (01202). Quite perplexing, really!5 yearsI've just received yet another call from this so-called "local energy advisor." It's the third time now they’ve reached out, keen to chat about my roof insulation and, rather oddly, my age. I did my best to respond courteously, but honestly, it was quite a challenge!5 yearsFor the past couple of days, I’ve been plagued by this persistent caller.
