Got a call last week from this number, some guy called ‘Chris’ chatting about insulating loaf. I told him we’re on the TPS list so how did he get our number? He just dropped the call. Then today, ‘Chris’ called again about insulation. My husband asked for the company’s name and he kinda stammered. However, when I inquired whether they had a website I could look at, he dodged the question entirely. This raised my suspicions, and I felt it prudent to end the conversation. Seemed a bit dodgy, to be honest.

I received a call from Chris as well... Quite the character, he seems quite obsessed with squeezing into people's lofts to check on the insulation. The chap rattled through his spiel at lightning speed-at one point, I wondered if I was actually chatting with a bot! He paused when I posed a question, then seamlessly resumed his script, avoiding giving a proper answer altogether. It felt rather scripted, if I'm honest! He also mentioned that since I fall into the age bracket of 50 to 80, the inspection would be on the house, which was a cheeky twist. He intended to poke around my home to see if there were any other “issues” as well... Clearly a scam, if I ever saw one! I firmly told him to jog on as I wasn't interested, wished him farewell, and hung up. Oddly enough, another call arrived from the same area code just an hour later, which I chose to ignore. Is this chap utterly desperate or perhaps another automated programme? The verdict is still out on that one…

Quite like some of the other remarks here, I too received a call from Chris for the third time in just a few weeks. Before I could even gather my thoughts, he was prattling on about how I must have been insulating my loft over the past decade. Each time, I reiterate that I've got a loft conversion and therefore have no interest whatsoever. I’ve asked him how he procured my number since I’m ex-directory, and he claims it’s from some renewable energy company database! I told him outright that I hadn’t granted permission for them to share my information. The next time he decides to ring, I think I'll have a bit of fun; I'll keep him on the line and waste his time as much as he’s been wasting mine!

It’s Chris once more! Honestly, how many different numbers do these folks possess? I keep putting them on my block list, and before I know it, they’re back at it with yet another number just a week or so later. It’s rather unsettling, to say the least. Their approach is incredibly dubious and overly aggressive. The way they conduct themselves is far from professional, which is why I don’t hesitate to hang up and continue my mission of blocking each new number they come up with.

I’ve been inundated with relentless calls from different versions of this number, all beginning with 01202159***. It’s becoming ridiculous, receiving nearly 7 or 8 calls daily, so I’ve taken to ignoring them completely. What a pest!
