This number has called me three times over the past four days! Someone real picks up, says they're an "energy adviser" for my locality and tries to see how I'm doing. On the first day, a genuine person actually knocked on my door using the exact same spiel, and I'm pretty sure it was the same bloke all three times. The area code shows Bournemouth, which is odd since I live in Suffolk. Every time I told them I was tied up (ironically true), they just ended the call. Seems like a scam to me.

Got a couple of calls from someone named Chris today, one in the morning and another later in the day. Both times, he kicked off by saying something like, “Your loft insulation is wrong according to our records.” My wife answered the phone and, being the blunt one, snapped right back, “You’ve absolutely no clue about our loft insulation,” and hung up on him. Honestly, what kind of muppet leaves a phone number after spouting nonsense like that?
