Some bloke called saying he was a conservation officer from Kent County Council. He insisted he'd phoned me before and we had arranged a meeting. My son had a look into it and realised it was a con, so I cancelled the supposed appointment. I told him not to ring me back again as I'm on the TPS.

Got a call from someone saying they were a Conservation Officer with Staffordshire County Council. They kept going on about old-fashioned loft insulation. Turns out there's a dodgy firm using this same tactic to try and push spray foam insulation and things like that. The number was from Bournemouth, so definitely not Staffordshire. Very fishy!
