This number 01200437540 rang me and the moment I picked up, the call just ended. Usually, I don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers, no idea why I did this time. Anyway, I’ve blocked it now since it felt a bit dodgy.

I got a call from a guy named 'Chris' claiming to be from an energy firm, saying they wanted to survey my attic because it might have mould or condensation issues. Seems like a few folks in Lincoln had the same call recently (around October 2021). The voice sounded like a bloke just reading from a script, and I heard clicks between bits, like it was pre-recorded. To catch 'Chris' out, I asked for the company's phone number. He just repeated the company name and then hung up when I kept pressing for the actual number (01202 137540).

I’ve had three calls in the past day, all from slightly different numbers. Seems like some loft insulation scam to me. Weird thing is, I recently moved but kept my old number. What’s odd is how they’re saying stuff about my loft - and I don’t even have one!

I reckon this number is connected to Green Space UK, situated somewhere in Ringwood with the postcode BH24 1PD. Seems like they've got an 0800 number but are really using a local 01202 one underneath, which is a bit sneaky if you ask me 😕. They shoved a letter through my letterbox about a week back, and that’s exactly when the calls kicked off. Pretty sure it’s not just a random thing.

They ring me a couple of times a week without fail. Just today, someone claimed to be my LOCAL ENERGY ADVISOR, which is pretty funny since I live well over 100 miles from Bournemouth. Last week, a caller said they were heating engineers, and before that, they tried to pitch a free loft survey. That made no sense as I don’t even have a loft, so I just ended the call. They’re really pushy and keep asking irrelevant stuff, like if they can have my mobile to set up a consultation or something. I’ve had enough and blocked the number.

someone called me up today, sounded like they were from england, but wouldnt say their name. they mentioned loft installations and said they could sort a free survey out today. seemed a bit fishy to me, might be a scam.

Got a call from someone saying they were from a renewable energy database, though I reckon that’s not even a real company. They tried to conduct a survey about the insulation in my loft. Got a ring about some insulation stuff for my house. Guy went on about the ‘damages’ it could cause, trying to sell me something. Then he asked if I was either over 80 or between 50 and 80. When I said no, he just hung up on me straight away. Bit weird they’re specifically fishing for people in those age groups, right?

The answers to my questions were all over the place or sometimes just ignored, and some of the audio snippets sounded dodgy, honestly not very convincing. When I asked for some sort of ID and how they got my contact info, he just ended the call. He also said he was with the "Green Eco Centre in South West London," which felt off. Looking up reviews on Trustpilot, loads of people have flagged it as a scam too.
