The phone just won’t stop ringing, and it looks like they change the last couple of digits each time to get past any call blockers. I’m pretty sure the caller ID is a fake too. Annoyingly persistent, they always cut off before I can answer and never bother leaving a message.

It seems I have more acquaintances in Bournemouth than I realised! I’ve opted not to answer any of these calls, as the caller never bothers to leave a voicemail. When I investigate these numbers on ‘who's calling me’, the feedback is consistently along the lines of people expressing similar frustrations. Got a call from someone claiming to be my local energy company, which I don’t even use or need, so I just hung up. I’ve been getting loads of calls from that same area code for years now, and it’s probably the same person each time. If they’re really in the UK, they’re totally ignoring the rules of the telephone preference service. Honestly, they deserve a hefty fine to teach them a lesson.

Got a call from this number but no voicemail was left, yet you could tell someone was there on the line.
