I keep getting calls from this guy who says his name's Chris, some energy advisor from around here. He rings me up like twice every day. Honestly, I wish I could talk to him in person. It’s a pity he doesn’t find something better to do or get a real job. Might actually do some good for once instead of just pestering people.

this number, along with others like it, has called me quite a few times. i always ignore and they never leave a voicemail. i get a ton of calls like this, they’re just annoying and i really don’t want them bothering me.

Got a cold caller claiming to be my local energy advisor. They must have snagged a whole set of numbers starting with 01202 1373xx or something like that.

I've been getting calls loads from 01202 137380 and some bloke keeps saying he's Chris, your local energy advisor or some rubbish like that. Honestly, feels like a dodgy scam to me, so watch out!

My mum keeps getting calls from this number, but she just puts the phone down straight away.

I picked up the phone after it rang thrice, but there was absolutely no one on the other end. I tried greeting them three times with a "hello," but all I got was an incessant beep. This isn't the first occasion I've been led astray by this number, and it's beginning to feel like a right nuisance!

Gave it a ring and then just cut off!

I received another call from a company selling insulation services. This is the second instance of them ringing me up. I simply terminated the call.

I received a call from someone named "Chris," who was trying to promote services aimed at improving home energy efficiency. He claimed to be phoning from the SW London region, but I can't help but wonder: is Bournemouth actually part of South West London?

It's Chris once more. He mentioned that I was listed on the Telephone Preference Service and then promptly vanished!

Had a chat with Chris regarding insulation, but he abruptly ended the call once he realised I’m not of the older generation. Odd behaviour, really.

Claimed to be from a nearby energy company, but when I inquired about his identity, he just abruptly ended the call! Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. When will the proper authorities finally take action against these nuisances?

Just after 11 this morning, my phone buzzed a couple of times before the call was abruptly cut off. Quite mysterious, if you ask me!

He claimed to know I was the owner of the property. I promptly informed him that wasn’t the case and that his true intention was to pry into my personal affairs. He swiftly ended the call, and I’ve now added him to my blocked numbers.

I’ve started ignoring calls on my landline due to individuals like this. It’s absolutely appalling!

I had this chap ring me up, claiming to represent a nearby business selling loft insulation. I made it clear I'm on the Telephone Preference Service list, but he just ploughed on regardless. He waffled on about insulation for ages, then cheekily asked if my current stuff was pink and woolly. At that point, I reiterated that I’m TPS registered and really shouldn’t be receiving these calls. I politely wished him a good morning and ended the call. Quite the nuisance, really!

I’m absolutely fed up with receiving calls on my home phone from these nuisance numbers. I’ve signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, yet it seems to make no difference whatsoever. I've stopped picking up the phone entirely now. It baffles me how they even manage to get hold of my number in the first place! I've had to block an endless stream of these callers recently. When are the authorities going to take action on this?

I noticed the area code looks quite similar to the three other calls I've had since the 6th of July. The caller barely had a moment to utter a word before I promptly let him know exactly where he could shove it, giving him the full two-for-one special on my response!

I’ve received three calls from this number between the 19th and 29th of July, 2021. Strangely, they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail on my answering machine, which I find rather odd.

I received a call from this number, and they picked up in no time at all, as if they were poised by the phone. However, I was met with silence - just a persistent dead line. After about ten seconds, it produced that irritating unobtainable tone. It's classic behaviour of a robocaller, isn't it? They ring up in the hopes that one of their call centre chaps will be ready when I answer, but my quick response always throws them off. They hang up only a few moments later when no agent shows up. This isn't the first time I've been hounded by this number; I’ve had two prior encounters, both of which were for telemarketing. One caller was keen to speak to whoever managed the electricity payments. I cheekily mentioned our solar panels, saying we made a tidy profit, and off they went, hanging up in a flash - what a laugh! The second call was from a persistent lad who claimed my ‘insulation’ might be making me unwell. He soon pivoted to warn about potential dampness affecting the joists. I kept asking which insulation he was on about, but he evasively dodged the question. Eventually, I let him know we had an eco-friendly home devoid of insulation, and our roof was basically a wildflower garden. To that, he merely chirped, ‘Have a nice day,’ and hung up. What a chuckle! Seems I’ve got a lot more free time to spare than they do. Nonetheless, I've had my fill of this nonsense and have earmarked this number as ‘do not answer’ on my phone's call list.

What a right nuisance with that washing machine insurance con! As soon as I hung up, they were straight back on the line, hurling all sorts of unpleasant remarks my way. Had no choice but to block their number!
