Received a rather bizarre voicemail that sounded like it came from a machine, proclaiming something along the lines of “I absolutely adore my workplace.” Decided it wasn't worth my time to return the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media. When I answered, I could hear a bunch of people talking in some foreign language in the background. Then the person said they were calling about my Virgin Media account, which is rubbish because I don’t have one. I told them they were scammers and told them where to go. I wouldn’t deal with any firms or people from Bournemouth, no voicemail or anything left - pretty clear it’s a scam. Feels like the call centres have shifted from the Midlands down to the south coast. Also been getting loads of dodgy calls from Southampton lately, so I just auto-block all of them.

I got one like that as well... really odd sounding. I had to play it over a few times because the kid’s voice was so faint it was tricky to make out what they were saying.
