This number has called me a few times, but each time I pick up, they hang up right away. It’s like they just want to get a reaction or something, no words exchanged at all. To me, this feels pretty dodgy, so I’d suggest everyone block it or add it to your spam list as a scam. Just ignore it if it calls again. I got a call about my electrical cover, they said they could give me a cheaper price. Then they wanted my bank info, but when I asked them for their policy number, they just hung up on me. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

I tried to ask how they got my information, but they just kept talking nonstop. Eventually, I had to raise my voice to get a word in, and the moment I did, they instantly cut the call. Quite annoying, really.

I recently purchased a refrigerator from John Lewis, and not long after, I received a phone call from these folks insisting they could undercut my white goods insurance. They wouldn’t let me get a word in edgeways to ask how on earth they got hold of my information. It wasn’t until I raised my voice quite a bit that they finally caved and hung up! Quite the cheek, if you ask me.

I got a call from someone who already had my name and info about a recent white goods insurance claim. I’m actually handling things for an elderly neighbour. When I asked about a payment that was due for her, they just hung up on me. So I tried calling the number back and it turns out it’s not even a valid number. I honestly can’t figure out how they managed to get hold of that info. This feels really sketchy and worrying.

I’ve had almost 1400 calls from this same number and still, no action is taken to block it. It’s like the officials couldn’t care less because they’re probably benefiting from it. Maybe it’s linked to that PC World or Dixons security breach? Pretty frustrating!

Just got a call from someone who already knew my name. I asked who they were and they suddenly ended the call. Honestly, if there was a political party that promised to put an end to these annoying scam calls, I’d vote for them straight away.

I got a call earlier from someone claiming they were from the Renewable Energy Advisory Centre, saying something about a Government initiative on saving energy at home. I told them to stop calling me. I doubt they’ll respect that, so next time I’ll be mentioning GDPR to make them think twice!

Then he chuckled and said something like “I thought so,” before just hanging up. When I tried calling back, it told me no service on that number. Honestly, the whole thing felt really threatening. Best just to ignore it completely.

Got a call asking for the person who owns the house. When I asked who they were, they said something like ‘renewable energy trust’. Curious, I asked where they found my number and they claimed it was from a government database. I told them I work as a senior civil servant and wanted to know which government database exactly - they just cut the call straight away. Definitely block this number. It’s a scam and they couldn’t care less about TPS or any kind of list.
