I happened to receive a second call today, claiming to be from a local number. It was yet another attempt by someone pretending to be Amazon, alleging that my account was being shut down. As I don’t even have an account with them, I didn’t fall for the trick of pressing #1 to verify my details or #2 to connect with a representative. Quite a nuisance, really!
