got a call from this number saying they were from ee, but when i questioned it, they claimed they were calling from your mobile. at first, they pretended to be from ee business, and i told them i already work with ee business and this number didn’t match. the woman sounded quite unsettled and asked how ee business was going for me. i answered by pointing out they said they were from ee business, then she just ended the call.

I picked up thinking it was someone, but it was just a robot. I said hello and then got a weird automated goodbye from the other end!

It appears to be a call centre that I encountered. When I greeted them with a ‘hello’, there was no reply, yet I could faintly hear chatter in the background. It strikes me as rather unlikely that this call originated from Reading, which is roughly fifteen miles away. I've been inundated with far too many frivolous calls from the 0118 3xx xxxx series lately.

Got a random call that seemed like it was from a call centre - there was a pause before someone picked up and you could hear loads of noise in the background. They wanted to get hold of whoever handles your 02 account, but I don’t even have one!
