Claiming to be representatives from my local council, yet when I inquired about the name of said council, they abruptly disconnected the call.

Someone called me saying they were from Reading Borough Council, but I’m pretty sure that’s not legit. I checked and this number doesn’t show up anywhere on their official site. Feels like a scam to me. I’m going to ring the council first thing tomorrow to make sure.
