Some bloke called saying he was calling about my mum’s life insurance. As soon as I told him she’d passed away, he just hung up straight away.

She was saying I owed a fine for some life insurance I’ve never even had, so it felt like a total scam to me. Just got a call on my old phone but didn't bother answering since that thing's about to completely die on me. Once it does, no one’s gonna get hold of me through there anymore. I’m not planning to get a new one either. Whoever was calling might be in for a surprise when they see I’m unreachable and probably end up blocked. Don’t really care if it’s work stuff either, not interested at all.
