She claimed I faced a penalty regarding life insurance, which is utterly baffling since I’ve never held a policy in my life. It’s got all the hallmarks of a scam, if you ask me. The office sounded chaotic, and the accents I picked up were definitely Indian or Pakistani. Plus, the signal was horrendous; it wouldn’t surprise me if the call was actually coming from overseas, even though it appeared to be a local number. Just thought I’d give a heads up to everyone!
