9 yearsThis is definitely a **SCAM** that pops up randomly while you’re browsing online, urging you to call them. They then gain access to your computer through www.support.me, which links to https://secure.logmeinrescue.com/Customer/Code.aspx - but it’s all a trick. The number’s foreign, which was a big red flag for me! The so-called “agents” couldn’t even speak proper English! Don’t be fooled by it, just restart your device instead - it’ll save you a fortune. They introduce themselves as "Technical Support" without even checking what’s wrong, and immediately tried to charge me a hundred quid. When they asked if I had a PC or laptop, I said tablet, and when they asked for the brand, I just said paracetamol! They still didn’t get it. I ran the call for ages just to frustrate them a bit.9 yearsWhile I was using my PC, a message popped up saying it was from Microsoft support and told me to ring a certain number because my computer supposedly had a major virus. It warned that if I didn’t call, my device would get blocked! Definitely wasn’t from Microsoft though...
