I had a rather baffling experience with a chap on the phone. His accent was quite thick, making it tricky to follow what he was saying. He claimed to be calling from my internet service provider, TalkTalk. However, as soon as I informed him that TalkTalk isn't the company I use, he just cut off and ended the call without a word! Quite discourteous, if you ask me! Now I'm left pondering whether that was a dodgy call or just a genuine misunderstanding.
