Got a call from someone pretending to be from O2’s business team, trying to sell me a contract. They even used an old postcode of mine from like 15 years back, which was a dead giveaway. When I asked for my O2 account info, they said they couldn't find it in their system. I just told them off politely and told them to jog on with their nonsense. Total scam attempt, nice effort though!

Got a call I missed and when I rang back, the recorded message just said 'we're busy right now, please call again later' without saying who it was from. After searching the number, I thought it best to just block it since any legit business would have identified themselves properly.

Somebody called me saying they were from O2 and that my contract was nearly finished. They wanted me to give some personal info for “data protection” reasons. But when I asked them to prove they actually worked for O2, they just ended the call straight away.

i got a call from someone saying they were from o2 and that my contract was up for renewal soon, and i could upgrade if i wanted to. i told them no way, ive still got about two years left on it. didnt bother listening any more and just ended the call.
