They oddly had loads of info about my company, my address and all, saying they worked for Business Energy Direct and were backed by OfGen. The caller explained OfGen were swamped and had asked them to step in and identify problems with commercial energy providers. But when I checked their website, it looked just like any normal energy broker, nothing about this help scheme. They even asked me to send photos of my energy invoices through WhatsApp so they could “verify and fix” any extra charges and hopefully snag me a refund.
