Got a call from 0117 478 0232 the other day. I picked up but there was just silence, so I’m guessing it’s one of those call centre jobs. Decided to block the number straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon Prime. They said they needed an Anydesk code so they could "cancel my Amazon subscription." Turns out, they just wanted to hack into my device and nick all my personal info. Watch out for this trick, it’s a total scam!

Just got a rather unsettling automated message from this number a mere quarter of an hour back. It claimed that my Amazon Prime account had been compromised and urged me to press 1 right away to chat with an agent. The thing is, I don't even possess an Amazon Prime account - just your bog-standard Amazon one! I logged in to double-check, and all appears well. It’s quite obvious this was a dodgy scam effort! Keep your wits about you!

Picked up the phone but no one was there. Definitely just another rubbish scam trying it’s luck, no doubt about it.

They rang up saying they were from the National Debt Line. I made it clear I wasn't interested, and then they just cut the call.
