It prompted me to press 1 if I wished to cease further calls, which I did, but as soon as I pressed the button, the line went dead. Surprisingly, I received yet another call from the same number! Today, a similar occurrence took place with a call from 0113 (Leeds) 484 0120, also linked to Digital Solution Marketing Company. Quite the nuisance, really!

He asked if I was the homeowner and then said he wanted to check if the roof insulation was still in good shape, as it might have deteriorated over time. When I asked which company he was with and why he was calling, he just hung up straight away without saying a word.

Just got a ring from this number a short while ago. The bloke claimed he was from some energy company nearby. He then went on to cheekily ask if I owned my place and how old I was. I told him he had no business asking me that, and he just ended the call. Proper annoying!

Got a random call from some bloke claiming to be Alex, an energy advisor. Never asked for it, totally a scam. This is the second time today, but from a new number. Both have gone straight onto my block list. Watch out for this one!

Got two calls this morning within a couple of hours, both got picked up by my "Announced Call" service - no voicemails left. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now. The calls came from a landline in North Devon.

Got a call from someone who said his name was Alex, claiming to be my ‘Local Energy Advisor’ for the postcode. After reading the other comments, it seems like he’s probably not just local at all but covers loads of different areas! Decided to block the number straight away.

If I don’t know the number, I never answer straight away. No voicemail? Then it’s clearly nothing urgent. Just got a call from 01174433677 - definitely some kind of scammer. Wouldn't bother answering that one again.

I picked up the phone and the bloke said, "Hello, this is John from Windows and Doors about your property." I asked, "What property are you on about?" and he just cut me off. I’m actually based in Poole.

I recognised the number and don’t have any acquaintances in that region, so I let it ring. It seems someone picked up and then cut the call after hearing my voicemail!
