I suspect this might be a con job; they kept insisting they were representing EE and claimed to be offering me an upgraded phone contract. The strange thing is, they didn’t seem to have a clue about what network I was on or any of my personal details. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Instead, some bloke started talking about the national lottery and even mentioned my name. I wasn’t really interested, so I just stopped him and ended the call. Could’ve been a scam, but I’m not totally certain.

Upon looking into it, it seems that this number belongs to a genuine business called BMI Solutions, which handles office equipment repairs over in Bristol. Quite baffling as to why they'd give me a call, never crossed paths with them previously. I can only surmise it might've been a wrong number, seeing as they didn’t bother to leave any voicemail. Could it be that their phone line's been compromised and they haven't yet realised?
