At that moment I told them that it wasn’t urgent and they should take me off their calling list. Today they’ve called again even after I asked them not to, so I’ve just blocked the number now.

After the second try, I decided to call back but kept my number hidden. Turns out it’s a firm called UK Choice doing surveys for another company. They offered me to press 9 if I wanted to stop getting their calls, so I did that. Still, I went ahead and blocked their number just to be safe.
