I tried calling back just to check if I should block the number, but got a voicemail saying to wait, someone would be with me shortly. Then at night, my phone displayed a pause symbol, and I was left hanging before they just ended the call. Definitley some kind of scam going on here.

Missed a call today from a number I didn’t recognise, and guess what, no voicemail left either. Could be another scam, which is annoying. I tried signing up with the TPS, but apparently my number isn’t on their radar. Feels like a pointless exercise since they only chase up calls from actual people, not automated ones like this. Now that these lot have my number, I’m bracing myself for endless calls going forward.

some bloke rang me about some mbna credit card thing. i told him i had no clue what he was yakking about and asked why he was ringing me. he got right nasty and rude just 'cause i was asking questions. then he just cut me off.

Had a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from Redstar about PPI. I just said thanks and then they went straight off. I'd say that was a bit like harassment, tbh.
