So they rang me recently and knew my name, asking about some accident. I said which one I meant and then just hung up and blocked the number. About five minutes later, the same number called again even tho I’d already blocked it. Feels pretty sketchy and worrying to me.

Got a call from a number on BT call guardian but no ID showed up, so I'm guessing it was either a scammer or one of those call centre calls. I've just gone ahead and blocked the number.

Just make stuff up when they call. Say you’re like 95 years old or something and they usually just put the phone down quick. Or tell them the person they want got fired for killing someone at a call centre. Either way, they don’t bother you again.
