Got a call saying I qualified for a government grant to get insulation done, but it turned out to be a total rip-off. Definitely a scam trying to get your money. Watch out, don’t fall for it!

Got a call from a bloke the other day trying to sell me a fridge, I told him I wasn’t interested. Then a couple days later, a woman rang about a TV and I gave her the same reply. These calls have been coming in quite a bit recently.

Got a call about loft insulation, told them I already sorted it, but they just wouldn’t take no for an answer. Total scam, really annoying.

Not sure if this was some kind of scam or what. The number wasn’t in any cold-caller lists I checked, so I decided to call back. A recorded voice thanked me for getting in touch and asked me to press a button to opt out - didn’t say what exactly though. I’ve no clue how that helps if it is a scam, but honestly, I wouldn’t press any buttons or call back again just in case it’s a premium rate number or something dodgy. Better safe than sorry.

They hung up before I had a chance to pick up, didn’t even leave a voicemail. Pretty sure it was just another scam call!

Got a call earlier saying that homeowners qualify for loft insulation. Told them mine’s already done, so I just blocked the number after that.

Phone rang, loud noise, sounded Indian, so I just hung up.
