I picked up a call from an Asian woman who was talking about some sort of survey. She kept asking loads of questions, but her accent was pretty hard to catch. She wanted to know if I owned my house, what brand my TV was, and the make of my dishwasher. What really freaked me out was that she already knew my postcode and address. That’s when I started feeling a bit uneasy about the whole thing.

When you ring back, you’re met with a robotic American voice that mentions something about opting out in the next 72 hours. Best to just block the number, in my opinion!
