Got a call from 01172140697 but they didn't say anything or leave a message. Sounds like a scam to me.

Seems like just another fraud call to me.

So I got a call from these Easy Upgrades people, they already had my name but still went on asking what kind of home improvements I'd do if I had £1000. Didn't bother listening much, just ended the call and blocked their number right away.

Picked up the phone but all I got was silence before it just hung up on me. Looked up the number here after and saw loads of others saying the same thing. I’m going to block it for sure. Funny thing is, a nearly identical number rang me last week too, only it finished with 0568 instead of 0697.

I’m in London and this number, 01172140697, keeps popping up as spam so I just ignore it now. Sounds like it might be linked to some US company trying to flog EFT investments. Loads of UK numbers seem involved, so I reckon it’s best to mark all of them as spam.

Got another call today and honestly, I’m getting really fed up with it. I answered, and as I expected, it was a telemarketer trying to sell something. I said I wasn’t interested but the bloke kept going on and on. In the end, I just put the phone down and waited for him to hang up.
