Got two calls this week from different numbers but both claiming to be from “Consumer UK.” The person on the line had a strong Indian accent and sounded like they were rushing, probably working at one of those busy call centres. They were basically pleading for me to answer their questions. Sounds like they’re under a lot of pressure, but I’m definitely not sharing any details with some random stranger ringing out of the blue.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent, maybe Indian, checking if the person was the right one to talk to. When I asked for their name, they said Trevor Wilson. I then asked what company they were calling from, but as soon as I did, they just ended the call. This happened here in St Helens, UK. I’ve reported it to my network provider just in case.
