The caller had an Asian accent and said he just wanted a quick word with me, like 10 seconds tops. He claimed he knew where I lived and insisted he wasn’t after any bank info or anything like that. When I asked which company he was from, he got a bit annoyed. He mentioned he only wanted to ask me three questions, all about marketing, and kicked off by reciting my name and address. But the moment I questioned him more, he abruptly ended the call.

I picked up and the caller already knew my name, saying they were from British Nations. I didn’t get a chance to find out more because I just ended the call straight away!

Got a call from this number at about 8.23 in the morning, the bloke asked for me by my name and like said "How are you today?" then mentioned he wanted to ask me some questions. I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent - I can tell because I'm Indian myself, and I’m not afraid to call out these scammers. Please, don’t pick up these sorts of calls! They record your voice and then use it to trick your bank into giving them access to your money. Sadly, I fell for it and lost £8000 from my Lloyds account. These fraudsters usually say something like, ‘This will only take a minute of your time’ but don’t say anything back! They only want a sample of your voice. Lloyds’ fraud team warned me about this. Best advice: just don’t answer these calls at all.
