One day I caught on and said I’d heard online that they might just be automated messages. That’s when I got through to this bloke called “Wayne” with a South Asian accent. He insisted my number was listed on the national consumer database but refused to tell me how to access it. He also said he was from an energy advice centre but wouldn’t share an actual UK address for the place.
