I've received yet another irritating phone call regarding energy services-this is the third time just this week! I've had enough and decided to block the number.

I had a chat with an energy consultant who had a proper Brummie twang. I mentioned to him twice before that I wasn’t keen on their services. The call had a bit of a robotic feel to it, but when I reiterated my disinterest, his reply was something like, "That's alright then!" Quite casual, really.

I've received calls from a string of numbers, each time speaking with someone named "Chris," using the very same script verbatim. In an effort to catch them out, I said there’s talk online about them being just recordings. This prompted a conversation with a fellow named "Wayne," who spoke with a South Asian accent. He insisted that my phone number was listed on the national consumer database but refused to provide any means of accessing it. He also claimed to be affiliated with the energy advice centre yet wouldn’t disclose any UK address for it.
