Absolutely a scam! They attempted to trick me into a phone upgrade while pretending to be from EE. I checked with the real mobile provider, and they assured me it’s a complete fabrication. Whatever you do, don’t respond or provide any information.

When I picked up the call from that number, the person on the other end just said 'goodbye' and hung up straight away. My son, who resides in Leicester, tried ringing that same number too, and the automated message informed him that the number wasn’t recognised before it outright labelled it as a spam caller. Quite peculiar, isn't it?
