Had similar experience like most people here, told the caller from abroad I wasn’t interested cos sounded like a scam like loads I've had before. Told him I had saved his number and would report it to get it stopped, he just said "Good luck with that, you'll never track us down" and then cut me off. So, just like always, got a call from a guy with a thick accent, sounded Indian. He said he’d block all the annoying calls on my phone but wanted my card details. I told him my phone already has a nuisance call blocker, must’ve said it about 8 times. Every time I said that, he kept asking for my card info. Then another guy joined in, I said to him, “Do you eat cows or pigs?” Just to confuse him a bit, and told him again I don’t want the service ‘cause of my phone’s blocking feature. He ended the call straight away. Proper pushy, definitely a scam.

Got a call from some foreign guy claiming to be from a windows service centre. He called my husband ‘my son’ and said he’d downloaded something that was messing up the computer! Wanted me to log in and give him my details. His English was really bad, and you could hear loads of background noise like a typical call centre. @ Some bloke with a strong Indian accent called, asked for me by name and said he was Michael, ringing about the telephone preference service. He wanted to know if I was still receiving sales calls and said I’d have to sign up to the TPS again. I knew straight away it was dodgy, so I just ended the call. Didn’t get anywhere near giving any bank info!
